I do miss out on the exceptional experience Gen4 grip and The marginally milder recoil in the thicker slide and barrel but the lighter excess weight and really feel from the G30S for me over would make up for it...It is actually lighter and you will get much more felt recoil with that upper. It normally takes what a 36 glock might take. But by the
